Policies
  • A limited number of hunters will be allowed per hunt.
  • SS Outfitters is not responsible for any accident, injury or theft.
  • Hunters are required to sign a “Release of Liability” and a booking contract prior to arriving for the hunt.
  • ATV use is restricted to SS Outfitters staff only.
  • Drug use and /or possession is not allowed. Sensible, moderate alcohol consumption is only allowed in the evening, after the day’s hunt.
  • Tracking of wounded game is only allowed when accompanied by SS Outfitters staff.
  • In compliance with Quality Deer Management, only trophy class animals will be taken. Quality Deer Management states bucks must be a mature buck at least 2 .5 years old or 125 BC. There will be a $300 fee for taking non-trophy animals which do not comply with Quality Deer Management standards.
  • Hunters are required to provide their own fall restraint systems (safety harnesses). Safety harnesses must be worn at all times while in tree stands.
  • SS Outfitters does not guarantee 100% success. We will however work with you to provide a quality and enjoyable hunting experience and place you in the best position possible for an opportunity at tagging a trophy buck.
  • Free transportation is provided to and from the Eau Claire Regional Airport. “Fly-in” clients coming into any other airport are subject to an additional fee.
  • Hunters must purchase their own licenses and tags. Bow licenses need to be purchased prior to the season or if after the season has started, licenses must be purchased at least 3 days before hunting. The Wisconsin DNR allows purchases by phone or via the internet through their web site.
